# Fundraising on Facebook

## Fiscal Sponsorship does not qualify an organization for Facebook’s charitable giving tools. Here is the workaround.

Create a fundraiser under Nonprofit Organization for Philanthropic Initiatives (NOPI) and then follow the steps below to indicate that your program or organization is receiving the funds. 

If your organization has a 501(c)(3) designation of its own, go to [facebook.com/donate/signup.](https://www.facebook.com/donate/signup)

### Set up your fundraiser

1. Go to [https://www.facebook.com/fundraiser/with\_presence/create\_dialog/?default\_beneficiary\_type=charity&source=fundraiser\_nav](https://www.facebook.com/fundraiser/with_presence/create_dialog/?default_beneficiary_type=charity&source=fundraiser_nav).
2. Enter and Choose **Nonprofit Organization for Philanthropic Initiatives (NOPI)** in the search box
3. Under **What's the title of your fundraiser?** change the title to reflect your program or organization the funds will benefit
4. Update **Why are you raising money?** to explain your cause
5. Select **Create**
6. Email [accounting@thenopi.org](mailto:accounting@thenopi.org) a link to your fundraiser so we may match donations to your campaign

Network for Good will distribute donations to NOPI within 45-75 days.
