# Setting up Givebutter

## Set up your Givebutter account to begin fundraising for your fiscally sponsored organization.

- **Create a Givebutter account** 
    - Go to [www.givebutter.com](http://www.givebutter.com)
    - Click "Sign up – it's free"
- **Set up your organization** 
    - Choose "Other" as your *organization type*
    - Enter your organization's name and contact information
    - Complete the forms for *Organization*, *Personal*, and *Get Started!*
    - Under *What type of organization are you?* select *Service/Charitable*

**Add Program Officer and Executive Director as admins**

- Select *Settings* from the left side menu of the dashboard
- Select the *Users* tab
- Add **amanda@thenopi.org**, **rennie@thenopi.org**, and **valerie@thenopi.org** as admins

**Please don't connect to Stripe right now.** The NOPI team will assist you in configuring the payout and banking details necessary for your account.

**Verify as a Fiscally Sponsored Organization (FSO)**

- Email [support@givebutter.com](mailto:support@givebutter.com) or use the **Chat** button at the top of your dashboard.
- Once fiscal sponsorship verification has been activated for your account, visit [https://help.givebutter.com/en/articles/9242694-how-to-verify-a-fiscally-sponsored-nonprofit-organization](https://help.givebutter.com/en/articles/9242694-how-to-verify-a-fiscally-sponsored-nonprofit-organization)to continue the verification process
